On Sunday 30th June 2019 the Bribie Island Tennis Club celebrated it’s 30th birthday at the club grounds in Cosmos Park. The event was attended by approximately 90 people. A BBQ was provided by the club and expertly cooked by club member Rob Nickling. MBRC Councillor Brooke Savige, State Member for Pumicestone Simone Wilson and Tennis Queensland Representative Nick Todorov all congratulated the club on achieving this milestone. A very large cake (donated by Brooke) was cut and enjoyed by all those there. A free raffle has drawn with prizes donated by the BI Bowls Club and Simone Wilson. The major prize of a Wilson tennis club was won by club member Di Howe.
